National Soup Month

Soup.  Chowder.  Bisque.  Never sure which is which and what makes one and not the other.  Very confusing, indeed.

But, whoever is in charge of these things has declared the entire month of January as National Soup Month.  The folks over at Campbell’s must be giddy.

Fortunately for us, we live in an area that is famous for our soups, chowders and bisques.  Our local restaurants feature many mouth-watering varieties, and many are based on our wonderful Maryland seafood.
